Tower of Aruhn

Deep in the Forest of Statues lies the Tower of Aruhn, named after an adventurer who discovered the temple it rests in a place few dare to tread, the tower has many rumours surrounding it in the lands beyond the forests reach, some tell of a mad sorcerer that experimented on the souls of her victim, others tell of an ancient evil locked within, a once sacred temple long lost to time, or a simple monument of a people long forgotten.

One thing is sure this Tower rests on the bones of a great magic, it hums in the air, and stirs in the wind, even the Forest is a great mystery as no one knows who built the statues or for what purpose and yet they dot the land for hundreds of miles all the same image of a young beautiful woman, and though the forest is lush and serene in appearance the only thing people's stories of the forest have in common is the feeling of unease, or maybe better put the feeling of existential dread, which is said to worsen as one approaches the towers shadow.
